It's at the end of the great days I have that I lay in bed and reflect on the little things that made the day a great day. Yesterday could've been one of those days. It's amazing when you think about how blessed you are, and the opportunities and experiences that you've been blessed with, and all that is to come.
Lately I've gotten to the point in life where you realize who your friends are and who your friends aren't. And I've been so blessed to have the best group of friends I could ask for. Yesterday was a day that proved it a little more. Taco Bell to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, because where else would you go for real authentic Mexican food? Then there's Just Dance parties and stalking the best friend at work and silly-stringing your best friend's truck with your friends while he's at work. Going to see Iron Man 3 and laughing until you cry at British terrorists. And Tropical Smoothie adventures with the best friend and racing against time to make it to Bible study on time. Late-evening truck rides where we blast Paramore and sing at the top of our lungs with the windows rolled down. Then apart from that, countless Taco Bell runs and Goodwill adventures and girl talks at Subway and slumber parties where all you do is scroll through a Tumblr dashboard and laugh until you cry and going to see terrible movies at the movie theater and it would take all night to list all my favorite memories with my best friends.
Then there's those rare evenings at home where you're alone and it's finally quiet enough for you to process all these thoughts and fit them into a blog post. Currently in life I'm stressed over so many things and I've felt emotionally and physically drained the past few days. But I'm so thankful for amazing friends to help relieve the stress and bring joy to life. I know I'm going to have these friendships for a long time to come in life and I'm so thankful for that.
