I'll be gone from tomorrow til a week from either Sunday or Monday. This is going to be the best week of the year. I can't wait to see all my TeenPact friends. It's going to be so much fun. Ohmygosh. I'm gonna cry. What is air. Dear Lord. I can't wait.
That is what my day has been for the last 2 days. Toddlers. Adorable, screaming, crying, cute toddlers.
I've been getting some volunteer hours by taking care of 2-year-olds at the nursery while the moms attend the homeschool practicum. It's fun, yet exhausting. Because you get to play with the cutest kids ever all day, but they also like to scream, cry, drool all over you, and wipe their runny noses on your clothes. So yes, I do have my challenges.
My day starts with the moms coming to drop their child off. Except for two of them, they get clingy on their moms and they don't want them to leave. And the mom leaves which makes the kid scream at the door and cry their poor little eyes out and throw toys. So you have to comfort them for about an hour until they stop crying.
Then there's the random moments when one of them starts to cry and you have to hold them until they stop. Then you have to keep them entertained and busy and give them snacks.
Then there's naptime.
Naptime consists of closing all doors and blinds and comforting the kids because their moms have just dropped them off again after lunch so they're all stressed out. But after the storm has become calm, it's really cute to watch them fall asleep. That's when I sneak out of the room quietly for my break.
I only have to do this for one more day and then I have volunteer hours and more experience in handling 2-year-olds.
Now that we've covered that, please enjoy these gifs and pictures.
This made my day.
Mhmm. True.
I could seriously watch Harry laugh all day if I could, no lie.
At first, I was like, okay, I'm not going to become obsessed with them. This is just something to pass the time until Catching Fire comes out (that's another story).
But ha, ha, ha. Noooo. This is bad, guys. This is bad.
I'm obsessed with 5 amazingly adorable and hilarious British (and Irish) men that have absolutely zero knowledge of my existence, who are called One Direction.
Since this obsession, I've gotten hooked on reblogging One Direction things on tumblr and watching their hilarious video diaries from X-Factor days on YouTube. Guys, I no longer have a life.
Since I'm an only child and my friends and I have our busy schedules that hinder us from seeing each other, that leaves only my parents as fangirl venting sources. Here's some examples of how this tends to turn out.
Me: "OH MY GOSH MOM. LOOK AT THIS GIF I FOUND OF LIAM. OH MY GOSH."
Mom: *poker face*
Me: "MOOOOM THEY HAVE A NEW MUSIC VIDEO!"
Mom: *poker face*
Me: "MOM. LOOK AT LOUIS IN THIS VIDEO. OH MY GOSH HE'S SO FUNNY. I'M GOING TO MARRY HIM, YOU KNOW."
Mom: *poker face*
Me: "MOM DON'T YOU JUST LOVE HARRY? HE LIKES CATS AND HE HAS REALLY CURLY HAIR. HE SHOULD BE YOUR FAVORITE."
Mom: *poker face*
Me: "MOMMYYYYY LOOK AT ZAYN DANCING THE ASIAN PERSUASION. OH MY GOSH. I'M DEAD, MOM."
Mom: *poker face*
Me: "HEY MOM, DID YOU KNOW THAT NIALL IS IRISH? IRISH ACCENTS ARE BEAUTIFUL TOO, YOU KNOW."
Mom: *poker face*
Thanks, Mom, for tolerating all this nonsense. You're a saint.
Well, a few minutes ago, I got done watching all 10 of the One Direction video diaries from the X-Factor. They were so funny. Especially Louis. You never know what that kid's going to do next. Oh, and I'm going to marry him, you know.
At first, I didn't really have a favorite. I loved them all. Then I was like, oh my gosh, Liam Payne. But then I thought, well, he's attractive and all, but his personality's pretty boring. So without further ado, my favorite One Direction guy, also known as my future husband, Louis Tomlinson.
*dead*
Please enjoy this video. :D
And here's my other 4 future husbands...
Liam Payne...
Harry Styles...
Niall Horan...
and Zayn Malik.
Oh yes they are beautiful.
And some more before I close this very long post...
